Here we have listed the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions families have when considering the purchase of a holiday home with us.

Do you provide a rental service?

Although we Do Not Offer a Caravan Rental Service, we have starter caravans for sale at very reasonable prices. Rental fees add up over time, so our recommendation is to consider purchasing a caravan. All our static caravans are owner occupier which ensures a quiet – well run park and enables us to maintain control in order to maximize the customer enjoyment levels.

How can I find the best park for me?

At Northern View Leisure we are dedicated to identifying the best holiday destination to fit the needs of you and your family. Check out the various destinations we offer and consider the amenities you and your family will enjoy. Our sales team will be delighted to assist you and guide you to find the holiday home and destination which is best suited to your family and your budget.

Where are you based?

Our New Mobile Home Range is available for viewing at Garden World, Killycolp Road, Cookstown. Our pre-owned mobile homes are situated on different parks. We open Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Alternatively, please call us on 028 8676 7022 and we can arrange a meeting with the sales manager at a time that is convenient to you. Our five parks are open for viewings on weekends with the site managers available to show you around pre- owned and New static caravans.

How long does all this take?

Once you have selected the pitch and static caravan of your choice the process usually takes up to 4 weeks depending on stock and availability. We will keep in close communication with you, throughout the moving journey.

Do you provide decking?

Yes, we can provide decking if you wish, when your static caravan is sited through our very own Northern View approved contractor.

Do you provide on-site maintenance?

Yes, Northern View can provide a complete range of caravan maintenance services and repairs through our team of fitters, electricians and gas engineers. Our head office is open 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday to help organize any jobs and all our parks have on-site managers who are there throughout the day to assist you in anyway they can.

In the future can I move my holiday home to another park not on the list?

You are free to move your holiday home at any point. We can even help with the transport arrangements at an agreed cost. However, we find that people rarely move as fellow owners around them create a sense of community and people are loathed to move away from friends.

Buying and siting a holiday home sounds like a lot of hassle?

Not at all with Northern View Leisure. We are experts in delivering happy holidays for thousands of families for 40 years. We place your newly acquired holiday home on the park of your choice. Our qualified team of gas and pluming experts will arrange everything so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy! No fuss or hassle for you and your family. We also offer a complimentary call out service to handle any teething problems you might experience. Customer service is our number one goal and we pride ourselves in delivering a personal and professional level of service.

Do you arrange finance?

Absolutely, we listen to your family’s requirements and will advise on the best model to suit your needs. We have a range of finance packages for new mobile homes and we find most customers pay a deposit and finance the rest over 3 to 5 years. Finance is available subject to status.

Are there any hidden extras?

No, the price we quote for the rate of your caravan covers the cost of putting the van on to the park of your choice, siting and connection costs. The only thing you need to consider then are your site fees and insuring your caravan as all caravans must be insured to be on the park.

Do you provide insurance?

As an appointed representative of Arthur J Gallagher, we offer caravan insurance on a ‘New for Old’ or ‘Market Value’ basis. Contents, decking and shed’s may also be insured under this policy subject to terms and conditions at very competitive rates. However, insurance may be purchased from other brokers. If you are insured with Northern View, we offer a complete claims service through to organizing and carrying out any repairs required, which will give you peace of mind. What other services do you provide?

We offer a Drain Down Service for winter months to prevent frost damage, Insurance quotations for your static caravan including contents, decking and shed cover – terms and conditions apply, Gas testing and maintenance for your boiler and, decking service from our approved contractor.

What are the running costs of owning a holiday home?

Once you are on the park you will have to pay an annual site fee. Bills are sent out in November to be paid by the middle of January. Discounts apply to all fees paid on time. Electricity and on some parks water is metered to each caravan, and this is billed out annually along with site fees.

Site Fee’s can be paid in full, by direct debit, through Premium Credit, or in advance by account payments. Gas cylinders can be purchased on the parks as required.
