Downings / Melmore

Situated on a fine crescent beach which has won a National Blue Flag, Downings commands a beautiful view over the Ards Peninsula and Sheephaven Bay.  With Muckish Mountain towering in the background, it is a major water sports centre and sea fishing centre and is adjacent to the famous Rosapenna Golf Club.  

Melmore is close by and also offers a sandy beach with spectacular views of the majestic cliffs, seascapes and glorious headlands, including Melmore Head which commands views across to Fanad Head.
