Bundoran

Bundoran is known as the ideal seaside resort with something for everyone, whatever their age or interest.  Situated on the Donegal Bay where the Atlantic Ocean rolls onto the Blue Flag Beach, Bundoran enjoys an international reputation as a surfer’s paradise.  The Irish Surfing Championships are held here every April. The European ones were held in Bundoran in 1997 and the World Championships are being considered for some time in the future.  For those who do not wish to brave the wild Atlantic waters, Bundoran is the perfect base from which to explore the excellent cliff top walks offering panoramic views of Donegal Bay.
